Cooper Ln.

During a class outing to Cooper Ln. in Starkville, MS, we noticed the importance of front porches. The front porch has been analyzed throughout the semester as a community building tool as well as a typology in the vernacular architecture of the South. Here is a quick sketch that shows the addition of a simple porch onto these existing cottages.
